Oracle NetSuite and the SPF lookup limit

Five lookups covering three Oracle regions, when your account is in one of them.

NetSuite sends through Oracle's email delivery platform, and the include it gives customers covers all three of its regions at once: the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific. The Americas region is itself split, which is where the fifth lookup comes from.

As with every vendor on this list, an account lives in one region and pays for all of them.

It has grown from three lookups to five since the Expurgate list was compiled. NetSuite records tend to sit alongside a mail platform and a marketing tool, so two extra lookups is often exactly what pushes a record over the limit.

• Publish the Oracle email delivery include for your region rather than the NetSuite wrapper. Oracle documents these, and a European or Asia-Pacific account goes from five lookups to one.
• Confirm your region in NetSuite before changing anything, and re-check it after any Oracle-initiated migration.
